Aims of the Nursery

At Ladybirds our aim is to provide a safe, happy and stimulating environment, which encourages all aspects of learning and development. Our team of highly qualified staff will ensure that each child fulfils their full potential physically, emotionally, intellectually and socially.

We aim to promote and provide equal opportunities for each child so that they can develop a sense of:

  • Personal Achievement;
  • Self Confidence;
  • Awareness of their individuality;
  • Their ability to develop into a fluent and confident communicator;
  • Exploring the ways in which things work;
  • Why and how things are constructed;
  • Creativity and Imagination in their work.
  • The will to develop an enjoyment and interest in books, and the desire to read for themselves.

To ensure that this is achieved we make the children aware that they are valued and that their race, religion and culture are respected.

We aim to work closely with parents and recognise their values and beliefs and those of the family and community and will make parents welcome at all times.

At Ladybirds we work in a multidisciplinary team liaising with external agencies to gain best quality practice. All staff have a particular role and responsibility that will enhance the work of the nursery.
