Tweenie Room - (1- 2yrs) 9 places.

Between the ages of 0-2 years children are experiencing a rapid phase of growth and development. We are conscious that children of this age will have many similar basic needs and characteristics, however, each child is uniquely different with a number of individual needs and abilities. In recognising this, we aim to provide an environment that will encourage individual development to enable the children to learn to their fullest potential.

Our recently built conservatory accommodates nine babies from 0 - 1 years old. This light and colourful room offers a stimulating and exciting environment for our babies and has been furnished with a new range of interesting toys and activities for the children to enjoy. There is a softly furnished quiet space set aside for the little ones to sleep and rest.

Our tweenie room is situated on the ground floor and adjoins the toddler/pre school room. Within the room there are two main areas, one dedicated to 'messy' activities and a separate area for rest and sleep. Having planned daily activities, children will be encouraged to learn at their own pace through play and expand their knowledge of themselves and the world they live in.

As children approach their second birthday they will be encouraged to move into the toddler room to interact with the older children.
